What the data covers
15 official KBA series are loaded and kept current, 5 of them monthly. Every figure traces back to one of them and carries the release it came from.
Three things worth knowing
None of these are dealbreakers. All three are easier to hear now than after the invoice.
This page is the only English one. The portal, the contact form and the export column headers are in German — we will supply a written glossary with any export, and we answer email in English.
KBA vocabulary — vehicle classes, body types, fuel codes, keeper groups — is published in German only. We do not translate the official labels, because a translated category is no longer the official one.
The KBA lists those cars without a trade name or type key, so they cannot appear in any HSN/TSN-level figure. Below 2 % for most brands; for Lamborghini and Aston Martin it is their entire German fleet. We say so rather than showing a number that looks complete.
Pricing
Full portal access including bulk export as CSV and JSON. Prices are annual and net of German VAT — 19 % where it applies, reverse charge for EU businesses with a valid VAT ID.
